Cal Petersen - On waiversPetersen was put on waivers Wednesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

ImpactPetersen has struggled with the Flyers, posting a 2-2-0 record, 3.90 GAA and .864 save percentage in five contests this year. If he clears waivers, the Flyers might send him to AHL Lehigh Valley and summon Felix Sandstrom to serve as Samuel Ersson's new understudy. It's also worth noting that Philadelphia doesn't play again until Friday versus Washington, so the Flyers could send Petersen briefly to the minors and still recall him in time for that contest.

ImpactSanheim scored the game-winning goal in the final period for his eighth goal of the year. He added an assist on the final empty-net goal, made three hits, one shot on net, two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in 23:43 of ice time. This was a back-to-back multi-point game for Sanheim and the fourth game in a row that he provided at least one point. Sanheim's recent performance has been very encouraging as a defenseman. If he can maintain this offensive production, he could become a valuable fantasy asset.

Morgan Frost - Plucks pair of applesFrost notched two assists and three shots during Tuesday's 6-2 win over Tampa Bay.

ImpactFrost supplied two primary helpers on the first two goals by the Flyers to help give his team the lead for good. He had not scored a point in the past three games and his last multi-point game was on Feb. 8. The 24-year old center remains a boom-or-bust option in fantasy hockey. He has the potential to put up good numbers, but his inconsistency makes him a risky choice.
