ImpactZuccarello was deemed week-to-week ahead of Tuesday's matchup with Boston, so his designation for IR shouldn't come as a surprise. Thanks to the Christmas break, the IR tag won't impact his availability, as he will already have missed the required day when the Wild face the Red Wings on Dec. 27. Whether he returns for that contest remains in doubt at this point.

David Pastrnak - Lights lamp twice in OT lossPastrnak scored two goals on a game-high 11 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.

ImpactBoth goals came in the first period as the Bruins grabbed a 2-1 lead that didn't hold up. Pastrnak has been running hot and cold over the last few weeks -- Tuesday's effort was his second multi-goal performance and fifth multi-point outing in his last nine games, a stretch in which he's racked up six goals and 12 points, but he failed to find the scoresheet entirely in the other four contests.

Linus Ullmark - Comes up short in OTUllmark stopped 26 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.

ImpactHe had little chance on any of the pucks that beat him, as the Bruins defense had trouble dealing with traffic or getting to loose pucks in front of Ullmark. It's still the fifth straight start in which the veteran netminder has allowed at least three goals, and he carries a 3.31 GAA and .903 save percentage over that stretch despite a superficially strong 3-1-1 record.

Kirill Kaprizov - Two tallies including OT winnerKaprizov scored two goals on a team-high seven shots, including the game-winner, in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime victory over the Bruins.

ImpactThe 26-year-old tied the game at 2-2 midway through the third period, then gave the Wild the win with a one-timer in the extra frame. Kaprizov snapped a six-game goal drought with the performance, but the streaky winger still has five goals and 12 points over his last 13 contests.

ImpactThe Wild held 1-0 and 3-2 leads in the see-saw affair, and Fleury very nearly secured the victory in regulation as he weathered an 18-shot barrage in the third period from Boston. Brad Marchand finally forced OT with a little over a minute left on a Bruins power play, but Kirill Kaprizov wired home the winner to reward Fleury for his efforts. The veteran netminder has seen 40-plus shots in each of his last two starts, a discouraging trend, but in four outings since he surrendered eight goals to the Stars on Nov. 12, Fleury's gone 2-1-1 with a .912 save percentage.
