Rodney Hudson's injury hasn't hampered the Raiders offense

So far, Tony Bergstrom's impression of Rodney Hudson has been spot on.

The veteran backup has been sterling in his duties as Hudson's injury replacement. He hasn't been a blocking liability at all.

"He did a good job going in," head coach Jack Del Rio told ESPN's Bill Williamson. "It's not an easy set of circumstances to go in."

Few could've seen a talented center in Bergstrom. He's started only one NFL game since 2012. And he just played his first full game at center since his junior season of high school.

But Del Rio said he earned positive grades. He drew reigning Defensive Player of the Week Linval Joseph and mostly held his own.

Said Del Rio: "It's really a talented nose guard that he went up against. Tony played well in the game for us."
