Rex Ryan complimented Belichick, Brady and the Patriots like never before

Rex Ryan is one of the most talkative coaches in the NFL, but he's usually talking about himself or his team. Sure, he gives his opponents credit where credit is due, as every other coach does, but he's not usually one to praise others the way he did on Tuesday.

During his press conference, Ryan was asked about his brother Rob being fired by the Saints. Not only did he say it'd be fun to bring him to Buffalo, but he also paid Bill Belichick a huge compliment.

"He'll be fine," Ryan said of Rob being fired, via Mike Rodak of ESPN. "But it's the business. It's the business that we chose, and all that. It's gonna happen. It happens to every coach. It happened to [Bill] Belichick, the greatest coach of all time. It happened to him. It happens to everybody."

Many believe Belichick is indeed one of the best to ever put the headset on, but it was unexpected to hear it come out of Ryan's mouth. And he didn't stop there.

With the Bills set to take on the undefeated Patriots on Monday night, Ryan discussed New England briefly. But what he said is also noteworthy.

"That one was hard to fathom. That has never happened to me before," Ryan said of Brady's Week 2 performance against the Bills.

Ryan would also go on to say that the Patriots are "arguably the best team in football right now." That's not overly surprising to say, seeing as they're one-of-two undefeated teams left. Ryan continued to praise the Patriots , saying they have "the best offense in the league, with the best quarterback."

The Bills are four games back of the Patriots in the AFC East, but they can gain a game on them with a win on Monday night. Playing New England without Julian Edelman on the field should make it much easier, but beating the best team in the league will certainly be a challenge.
