Oakland-area team will pitch city officials on new Raiders stadium

San Diego-area billionaire Floyd Kephart has assembled a last-minute pitch to keep the Raiders in the Bay Area.

On Friday, Kephart's New City Development group will see if it works when they deliver a $900 million plan for massive Coliseum City redevelopment, according to the San Francisco Business Times.

The pitch will come just days before a crucial June 21 deadline for the city. But Kephart's plan reportedly raises as many questions as it does answers.

Stadium ownership and operation are two of the biggest question marks in the deal. Kephart will also need to outline plans to split stockholder revenue and erase debt from the 1995 Coliseum renovations.

Kephart says the two sides will continue to discuss his plans "over the next few weeks." Meanwhile, the Raiders and Chargers will continue to develop their joint-stadium plans in Los Angeles.
