Mark Sanchez reveals that John Elway has already challenged him

Mark Sanchez is the Denver Broncos only viable option at quarterback, for now. The veteran quarterback was introduced by the club Monday after being acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles last week.

Having Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway at his disposal should aid Sanchez's progression under center but that's not all Elway is offering him.

Sanchez was asked about what Elway told him regarding his opportunity in Denver.

"Get in here and compete your butt off for a starting role," Sanchez told reporters.

At this point, that won't be too much to ask for as the Broncos only other quarterback on the roster is Trevor Siemian, who has yet to throw an NFL pass.
