John Fox credits Alshon Jeffery for 'gutsy performance' in Week 10

Alshon Jeffery's name was not highlighted in the stat book after the Chicago Bears' 37-14 win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 10. He only caught three passes for 23 yards in the victory.

However, after suffering a groin injury in practice last week, Jeffery's performance was actually pretty impressive. Bears head coach John Fox gave the game-changing wide receiver a shout-out during his press conference on Monday.

Jeffery has really struggled with injuries this season. He missed a ton of time in training camp with a calf injury. Then, after playing against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, he missed the next four games with a hamstring injury.

However, when healthy, Jeffery has been phenomenal. From Week 7 to Week 9, he averaged 138 receiving yards per game. This latest injury has hampered his production yet again, but he has plenty of motivation to bounce back this season. The Bears have a faint heartbeat in the NFC playoff picture at 4-5, and Jeffery is slated to become a free agency next spring.
