The 2014 version of Red Sox-Yankees is here.

The American League East rivals open a four-game set in the Bronx on Thursday. The third game of the series will be nationally televised on FOX Sports 1, starting at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Some will argue this is the greatest rivalry in sports.

Others will claim it’s not even the top rivalry in baseball (Giants-Dodgers? Cardinals-Cubs?).

But that’s not the point.
