Umpire dodges foul ball with an incredible leap

Published May. 19, 2016 9:43 a.m. ET

Melky Cabrera smoked a line drive down the first-base line directly at umpire Adam Hamari in Wednesday's Astros-White Sox game, and Hamari avoided making contact with the foul ball with an impressive hurdle.

You really have to see it in slow motion to appreciate Hamari's hop. According to Baseball Reference Hamari is 32 years old, so he's still in the prime of his ball-dodging career.
