Blue Jays assistant general manager Tony LaCava turned down the Orioles’ offer to become their GM on Tuesday, according to major-league sources.

LaCava will remain with the Jays as the Orioles continue their quest to replace Andy MacPhail, who recently departed as president of baseball operations.

Dodgers assistant GM De Jon Watson and Orioles director of player development John Stockstill also have interviewed for the Orioles’ GM vacancy.

The Angels recently hired Jerry Dipoto, another of the Orioles’ early candidates, to be their new GM.
