Royals manager Ned Yost ejected against Angels

Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost has been ejected for arguing with umpire Mike Estabrook against the Los Angeles Angels.

Yost was tossed in the third inning Thursday after Estabrook stepped around to talk with Royals catcher Jason Kendall, who said something following a close two-strike pitch to Torii Hunter.

Estabrook talked for several seconds to Kendall, who remained in his squat, and Yost came running out to get in Estabrook's face. Yost was quickly ejected and continued jawing at close range, pointing his finger in Estabrook's face before leaving.

Estabrook also got into a shouting match with Angels manager Mike Scioscia in the first inning after a called strike on Royals leadoff hitter Scott Podsednik.
