The Kansas City Royals have traded right-handed pitcher Carlos Rosa to the Arizona Diamondbacks for shortstop Rey Navarro in a swap of minor leaguers.
The trade was announced after the Royals beat Tampa Bay 4-2 in 11 innings on Saturday night.
Rosa will report to Triple-A Reno. The switch-hitting Navarro has been at Class-A Visalia.
