Kansas City right-hander Kyle Davies has been scratched from his start against the Cleveland Indians because of a sore right shoulder.

Davies was replaced by left-hander Danny Duffy.

The Royals placed catcher Matt Treanor on the seven-day concussion list after he was knocked unconscious in a collision at home plate with the Indians' Matt LaPorta on Saturday. Treaanor was taken to local hospital for a CT scan.

Catcher Manny Pina was callled up from Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Infielder Yamaico Navarro, acquired from Boston for infielder Mike Aviles, has joined the team.
