The Colorado Rockies have replaced injured reliever Matt Daley with fellow right-hander Juan Rincon.

The Rockies put Daley on the 15-day disabled list before Wednesday's game at Minnesota with inflammation in his right shoulder and purchased the contract of Rincon from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Daley last pitched in a game on Thursday, throwing two perfect innings against the Houston Astros. He has a 3.74 ERA with nine walks and 17 strikeouts in 21 2-3 innings.

Rincon pitched one inning for the Rockies this year on April 27 between stints in the minors. He had a 7.25 ERA with seven saves and 23 strikeouts in 22 1-3 innings for the Sky Sox.
