Rockies recall RHP Reynolds, LHP Romero

The Colorado Rockies recalled right-hander Greg Reynolds and left-hander J.C. Romero from Triple A Colorado Springs on Monday.

This is the fifth call-up this season for Reynolds. He is 3-0 with a 6.46 ERA, eight walks and 12 strikeouts in seven appearances, three of them starts. Reynolds is 6-7 with a 6.81 in 19 starts with Colorado Springs.

Reynolds was 1-0 with a 4.91 ERA in four games with Colorado in August. Romero began the season with Philadelphia before spending time in the Washington Nationals and New York Yankees organizations. The Rockies signed him after the Yankees released him Aug. 14.
