Red Sox 3B Kevin Youkilis ejected against Nats

Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis has been ejected against the Washington Nationals for arguing a called third strike.

Youkilis stomped his foot and pointed toward the plate Friday night during a brief argument with umpire Doug Eddings, who tossed Youkilis once his second round of ranting began.

With the bases loaded and two outs in the sixth inning, Stephen Strasburg struck out Youkilis with a 96 mph fastball that the hitter thought was low. It was the 13th strikeout for Strasburg.

Youkilis continued yelling on his way to the dugout and manager Bobby Valentine came out to argue, then stood for a while at the plate in silence.
