BOSTON (AP) Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia limped off the field in the sixth inning Wednesday night after his go-ahead single.

The team announced Pedroia has right hamstring tightness. He grabbed his right leg after reaching first following his hit that pushed Boston ahead of the Baltimore Orioles 3-1.

He was replaced by pinch-runner Travis Shaw, who stayed in the game and moved to left field in the top of the seventh.

Brock Holt moved to his third different position in three innings, shifting from left to second. He started the game at first, but moved to the outfield when Hanley Ramirez left with a bruised left hand.
