Rays' Maddon goes 'Anchorman' with 'Sex Panther' cologne as game award

Tampa Bay Rays manager Joe Maddon, known for his zany antics in the clubhouse, most recently took his team out West for a Woodstock-themed, seven-game road trip. Somewhere along the trip, the theme turned into the 1970s, and Maddon began giving out vintage '70s scents to the team's "Player of the Game."
Most recently, Maddon gave Rays infielder Cole Figueroa a bottle of Sex Panther cologne by Odeon, a hat tip to the Will Ferrell flick "Anchorman," which was also set in the '70s:
Maddon also rounded up other 1970s colognes such as Brut, Old Spice, Aqua Velva and Hai Karate.
Aroma still matters. Hope there's a bad scent of old colognes mixing in dugout tonight. Let's stir up some nostalgia pic.twitter.com/TgXnZkFe2S

It's unclear whether the Sex Panther really does work every time or 60 percent of the time, since the Rays sit in last place in the American League East. At least they're having fun, though. And staying classy.
