The Rangers have agreed to minor league contracts with infielder Kensuke Tanaka (kin-SOO-kay teh-NAH-kuh) and pitchers Ryan Feierabend (FEAR-ahh-bend) and Daniel McCutchen.

Tanaka, who made his major league debut at 32 with San Francisco last season, will be in major league camp along with Feierabend.

Tanaka was a teammate of Texas right-hander Yu Darvish in Japan's Pacific League and spent 13 years playing in his home country before coming to the U.S. He was with Triple-A Fresno most of last season and hit .267 in 15 games with San Francisco.

Feierabend was in the Texas farm system this year. The left-hander spent part of three seasons with Seattle from 2006-08.
