Postgame pyro starts fire — twice

Published Apr. 6, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders lost to the Pawtucket Red Sox on Saturday night, but that could be the least of the team’s worries right now.

When the RailRiders set off fireworks after the game, fans in attendance took to social media to share stories — and tweet photos — of a fire that broke out in the woods behind the stadium.

The good news? The blaze was ultimately contained.

The bad news? The same thing happened a night earlier during a postgame fireworks display.

The best news, ultimately, was that nobody was injured. Check out a photo of the blaze below, and hope that the RailRiders come to their senses in time to prevent the same thing from happening a third time.
