VIERA, Fla. (AP) The game between the New York Mets and Washington Nationals scheduled for Saturday was rained out.

Matt Harvey had been scheduled to pitch for the Mets, but instead was held back because of the threat of inclement weather. The Mets' opening day starter faced St. Louis minor leaguers and gave up six runs and seven hits in 3 1/3 innings.
