Maddon not worried about Russell's struggles

Highly touted Cubs prospect Addison Russell has yet to find his rhythm offensively, but Cubs manager Joe Maddon doesn't appear to be concerned.
Russell is hitting just .111 through his first four games, but the shortstop is also in the process of learning a new position.
The Cubs have been using Russell at second base and as he adapts to the new position, Maddon is keeping a close eye on him.
“He's fine,” Maddon told the Chicago Sun-Times. “How about the plays he makes on defense. We win the game [Friday] kind of on a couple plays – the one to his backhand, and he throws out the fastest guy in baseball, and then he starts a double play on [Brandon Phillips'] ball to his left. That's where my focus is.”
“It's not just about the hits, folks,” Maddon said. “If anybody wants to make it just about the hits, [go ahead]. But if you want to play that game you're going to lose a lot. You've got to catch it.”
