Latos' wife teases with menu pic

It’s always been a safe bet that air travel is a more enjoyable experience for professional athletes than it is for the rest of us working stiffs, and on Sunday night, Dallas Latos, the wife of Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mat Latos, confirmed it for the remaining doubters.
Latos, riding on the Reds’ charter flight home following the team’s weekend sweep of the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley, tweeted the following picture of the comprehensive in-flight dining menu:
“@ meganash3: @ dallaslatos no pic of in-flight menu?!” Only for you. twitter.com/DallasLatos/st…

For a guy who’s thrilled when he gets to keep the whole can of soda on a crowded domestic flight, this extensive spread on a Delta charter sounds pretty fantastic. But then you’re reminded that the flight from Chicago to Cincinnati only takes about an hour, and the bill of fare seems downright indulgent.
And if you need any more convincing that baseball players and their families fly right, remember this next time you’re in the airport security line:
The best parts about team flights = taking liquids on the plane and not having to turn my phone off. Since you didn’t ask… #thuglife
