Is Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis worthy of a 2015 All-Star nod?

Based on the way he's currently playing, yes.

Despite getting off to a rough start this year, Kipnis has quickly turned things around since he was moved up to the leadoff spot at the end of April. Since his move to the leadoff spot, Kipnis has raised his average to .338 (more than 120 points in a span of 15 games).

So is Kipnis finally back to his 2013 All-Star form?

"Without jinxing it, I feel better than that. I found an approach and a swing that's working for me right now," said Kipnis. "We're putting in the time and a lot of work in the cages and are reaping the benefits of it out there. I know I'm not going to keep this up the whole season, but right now I've got my approach where I want it. I'm just going to ride it out for as long as I can."

If he continues on his current path, Kipnis will be well on his way to outperforming his 2013 self, making him a shoo-in for the 2015 All-Star team.
