Indians juggle lineup again

Published Jun. 6, 2011 6:38 p.m. ET

The slumping Indians are trying Grady Sizemore in yet another spot to try to awaken their offense.

Sizemore is batting third - normally Shin-Soo Choo's place - for the opener of a three-game series against Minnesota. Sizemore batted fifth twice in the past three games as manager Manny Acta looks for a combination to spark his team.

AL Central-leading Cleveland carried a season-high four-game losing streak into Monday night's matchup with the Twins.

Sizemore has batted first for much of his career. But the three-time All-Star, recently sidelined with a bruised right kneecap, has batted fifth three times and sixth in five games. This is the first time Sizemore has hit third since July 5, 2009.
