Giants' Bumgarner has no-hitter through 7 innings

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Madison Bumgarner has a no-hitter through seven innings for the San Francisco Giants against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Bumgarner has a season-high 13 strikeouts and has retired 21 of the 22 batters he's faced. It's the 29th time in his career that the Giants lefty has fanned 10 or more in a game. He's thrown 94 pitches.
Arizona's only baserunner came with two outs in the fifth when right fielder Gregor Blanco dropped Jake Lamb's flyball. Blanco was shaded toward center and appeared to get a late break but got under the ball before it hit his glove and bounced out.
The Giants are attempting to become the first team in major league history to pitch no-hitters in five consecutive seasons. This would be the first for Bumgarner.
San Francisco leads 2-0.
