Get ready for pink baseballs

For the eighth consecutive season, Major League Baseball will show its support in the fight against breast cancer on Mother's Day.
This Sunday, numerous players will use pink bats, made by Louisville Slugger. As in past years, many of the bats will be auctioned to raise money for the battle against breast cancer.
There also will be pink ribbons on uniforms, pink wristbands worn by some players and pink commemorative dugout lineup cards.
But this year, MLB is adding a new pitch to the tradition.

Forbes reported that more than $1 million has been collected in the auctions since their inception in 2006. Items also can be purchased on MLB.com's website.
