Dodgers: Puig 'a few weeks' from returning, but good news still on way

While the Dodgers' high-dollar stars get most of the headlines, it is their depth -- both on the bench and on the mound -- that has been the biggest reason they currently own the second-best record in baseball.
And now comes word that help is on the way . . . though not all the help they had hoped.
Speaking to reporters before Wednesday night's game, a 5-4 loss at home to the Miami Marlins, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly gave an update on two key injuries.
First, the good news: Closer Kenley Jansen (foot surgery) made the last of six one-inning rehab appearances with Class-A Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday night and is scheduled to be activated from the DL on Saturday.
Now, the bad: Outfielder Yasiel Puig will be out "a few weeks" after aggravating his strained hamstring in a rehab game last week. There is no timetable for his return.
