Dodgers activate Matt Kemp

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated Matt Kemp from the 15-day disabled list Sunday.
The centerfielder, who had been hindered by inflammation in his left shoulder after offseason surgery, was listed sixth in the Dodgers' lineup for their Sunday afternoon game against the Washington Nationals. He's hitting .254 with four home runs in 61 games.
Los Angeles optioned Scott Van Slyke.
