Dickerson hits really long HR, Rays tag Gonzalez, Orioles

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 3:16 p.m. ET

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (AP) Corey Dickerson hit a home run that stopped rolling 569 feet from home plate, according to the Rays, and Tampa Bay roughed up Miguel Gonzalez and the Baltimore Orioles 10-3 Thursday.

Dickerson, acquired from Colorado in the offseason, connected for a two-run shot off Gonzalez that sailed over the wall at the Rays' complex and kept bouncing. The team provided the estimate on how far it traveled.

Gonzalez allowed seven runs in 1 1-3 innings. It was the second straight game that an Orioles starter was roughed up - on Wednesday, Ubaldo Jimenez gave up six runs and retired just one batter in the first inning.

Desmond Jennings had a pair of run-scoring doubles for Tampa Bay. Brandon Guyer added three hits, including a home run off Dylan Bundy.

Erasmo Ramirez, who is expected to be Tampa Bay's fifth starter, allowed one hit in two scoreless innings.

South Korean outfielder Hyun Soo Kim was hitless in three at-bats for the Orioles. He is 0 for 9 in his first three games.
