Colorado Rockies' Michael Cuddyer has extended his hitting streak to 26 games with an RBI single in the first inning Saturday against the San Francisco Giants.
He hit an 0-2 pitch from Matt Cain up the middle to drive in Corey Dickerson from third and give the Rockies a 1-0 lead.
Cuddyer's streak is the longest in Rockies' history and in the majors this season. He has reached base safely in a franchise-record 45 straight games.
