Chris Heston outhits the Mets, drives in two runs

Not only did San Francisco Giants pitcher Chris Heston no-hit the New York Mets, he also had two more hits than they did. Heston’s single in the fourth inning actually drove in two runs -- his first two career RBIs. The right-hander singled again in the eighth inning, but a base-running error got him thrown out at second base for the third out which cost Nori Aoki an RBI single and Matt Duffy a run scored.
When a pitcher is throwing a no-hitter, teammates know not to talk to him. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Heston actually tried talking to Duffy about his base running, much to the third baseman’s surprise:
In the top of the ninth, with history beckoning, Heston sidled up to Duffy in the dugout to apologize. Duffy freaked out. He did not even want to make eye contact with his teammate, much less speak to him about an inning-old baserunning mishap that was meaningless in light of the score. Duffy told Heston, "Don't worry about that. It's fine. Just pitch."Heston didn’t seem to worry about it when he took the mound in the bottom of the ninth.
