Buckner dominant as D-backs edge A's

Published May. 23, 2009 8:16 a.m. ET

Buckner pitched 7 1/3 strong innings, Chris Young homered for the first time in a month and the Diamondbacks held on to beat the Oakland Athletics 2-1 on Friday night.
