Brewers bring back closer K-Rod on two-year deal
The Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to a two-year deal with free-agent closer Francisco Rodriguez, CBS Sports first reported Thursday morning.
FOX Sports MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal reports the deal is worth $13 million. It includes a team option for a third year.
Rodriguez, 33, went 5-5 with a 3.04 ERA and 44 saves in 69 games for the Brewers last season.
In his 13-season major-league career, Rodriguez is 46-41 with a 2.73 ERA and 348 saves.
