Astros' Gattis still sidelined with wrist discomfort

The Houston Astros are banking on Evan Gattis to provide a huge boost to the team's lineup on a regular basis in 2015, but he's having a hard time getting going in spring training because of a lingering wrist issue.
Gattis was scratched from the Astros' game with the Washington Nationals with what the team called 'right wrist discomfort,' and he was sitll feeling its effects on Tuesday.
Said manager A.J. Hinch to Paul Casella of MLB.com:
"He's seen the doctor and we're going to keep evaluating him day to day," Astros manager A.J. Hinch said. "He seems to be progressing nicely. We're going to ramp up his activities a little bit over the next couple of days, but he won't be doing a ton of activity. … We have the off-day [on Wednesday] and then we'll see how he feels on Thursday.
Minor, nagging injuries in spring training are usually no big deal, but the team no dout hopes Gattis' wrist heals quickly enough to allow him to get back to game shape.
After all, a healthy Gattis would be quite a threat in the middle of the new-look lineup, considering he hit 22 home runs and drove in 52 runs in limited playing time with the Atlanta Braves in 2014.
