The Oakland Athletics have brought up outfielder Jai Miller from Triple-A Sacramento.

Oakland selected his contract from the minor league team before Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers.

Miller spent the season with Sacramento, batting .276 with 32 homers and 88 RBIs in 110 games.

Miller made his major league debut with Florida in 2008 and hit .236 with a homer and four RBIs in 20 games with Kansas City last season.
