In January, Philadelphia Police Officer Jesse Hartnett was shot in the arm three times by an alleged ISIS-supporting attacker. But just months after the attack, Hartnett turned a public honor into a personal celebration when he threw out the first pitch at the Phillies' home opener and made the moment even more memorable by proposing to his girlfriend.
She said yes.

Hartnett told the local ABC station that he had been planning the proposal for a month.
Hartnett's accused attacker, 30-year-old Edward Archer, has been charged with attempted murder and other offenses related to the January attack. He is currently awaiting trial.
