Josh Giddey - Struuggles continue in lossGiddey produced 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists and four rebounds across 26 minutes during Friday's 105-98 loss to the Kings.
ImpactAlthough Giddey improved on his sour eight-point efforts against Atlanta and Cleveland, his scoring downturn adversely affects the Thunder's ability to close out games. Although he relied on secondary numbers to help take care of the Hawks and Cavaliers, the team will continue to falter if they can't find adequate support for Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, who is taking on too much responsibility.

Chet Holmgren - Tepid outing in lossHolmgren logged 12 points (5-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot across 29 minutes during Friday's 105-98 loss to the Kings.
ImpactThere's no denying Holmgren's upside, but he was picked apart by Domantas Sabonis Friday night, exposing weaknesses that the youngster needs to work on. His Achilles heel is a lack of aggressiveness at times, as the 7-1 Gonzaga product can often just stand flat-footed in the paint and have errant shots fall in his lap. Holmgren is at his best when he stretches the floor with his accurate mid-range shot, which leaves lanes open for him to dominate the interior.

Kevin Huerter breaks through his early-season shooting slumpFriday was without a doubt Huerter’s best showing of the season, but it had been brewing for the past three games.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - Leads all scorers in lossGilgeous-Alexander posted 33 points (14-25 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocked shots across 37 minutes during Friday's 105-98 loss to the...
ImpactAs usual, Gilgeous-Alexander carried the team on his back in a close game. After holding an early lead, the Thunder were unable to seal the deal, mostly due to tepid performances from Gilgeous-Alexander's teammates. Outside of the All-Star guard, no player scored over 14 points. The team is also utilizing a 10-man rotation, and the second unit needs work, posting only 18 bench points. It will be difficult for Gilgeous-Alexander to keep this pace and stay healthy if his teammates remain inconsistent.

Keegan Murray - Logs first double-double of seasonMurray posted 24 points (8-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, three steals, a blocked shot and an assist across 40 minutes during Friday's 105-98 win over the Thunder.
ImpactThe Kings desperately need role players like Murray and Kevin Huerter to succeed, and they both logged their best numbers of the season Friday night. If they can keep producing when De'Aaron Fox returns, the Kings will make some noise in the Play-In Tournament.
NOVEMBER 11, 2023•ROTOWIRE
Kevin Huerter - Dazzles with team-leading 28 pointsHuerter posted 28 points (11-19 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, three steals and a blocked shot across 33 minutes during Friday's 105-98 win over the Thunder.
ImpactHuerter logged a season-high 28 points and registered numbers in every category during the win. The Kings need De'Aaron Fox (ankle), back, but this is the kind of performance the team needs to be successful. Fox and Domantas Sabonis can't carry the team alone, and their supporting cast has struggled a bit to begin the season.
