Mikhail Sergachev - Generates assistSergachev notched an assist, two shots on goal, three hits and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks.
ImpactWith Victor Hedman (upper body) out, Sergachev played a season-high 26:37 in this contest. The 25-year-old snapped his three-game point drought by setting up Brayden Point's tally in the first period. Sergachev has four assists over his last 10 contests, a sluggish run for a strong all-around blueliner. He's at 18 points, 49 shots on net, 26 hits, 62 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a minus-15 rating through 30 outings this season.

Brayden Point - Scores early in lossPoint scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks.
ImpactPoint tallied at 1:25 of the first period, but that was the only goal the Lightning could muster against Thatcher Demko. After a five-game point drought, Point has a goal and an assist over his last two contests. The star center is at 13 tallies, 19 helpers, 83 shots on net and a minus-10 rating through 30 appearances. Andrei Vasilevskiy - Loses in VancouverVasilevskiy allowed three goals on 21 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
ImpactVasilevskiy's three-game winning streak came to an end. The Lightning scored first, but Andrei Kuzmenko tallied on the power play and Brock Boeser added a hat trick to lift the Canucks in the win. Vasilevskiy has allowed at least three goals in five of his eight appearances so far, going 4-4-0 with a 2.74 GAA and an .894 save percentage. He may still be shaking off some rust, and the Lightning seem fine with letting him play through it for now. They continue their road trip Thursday in Edmonton.

Nils Hoglander - Point streak at four gamesHoglander recorded an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Lightning.
ImpactHoglander has a pair of goals and two assists during his four-game point streak. The improvement on offense coincides with his promotion to the Canucks' second line -- he's shown solid chemistry at even strength alongside J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser. Hoglander is up to 14 points, 37 shots on net, 20 hits, 25 PIM and a plus-13 rating through 27 appearances. If he can maintain a top-six role, he should challenge his career high of 27 points that he posted as a rookie in 2020-21.
