Alex Lyon - Falls to Sens in OTLyon stopped 22 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators.
ImpactTwo of the pucks that beat him were the result of tip-ins, while the third came on a Brady Tkachuk breakaway after Moritz Seider blew a tire trying to get back on defense. Lyon heads into the All-Star break having gone 8-2-2 in January with a 2.54 GAA and .923 save percentage, and the 31-year-old has a tight grip on the starting job in the Detroit crease.

Mark Kastelic - Pots second goal of seasonKastelic scored his second goal of the season in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Red Wings.
ImpactThe 24-year-old center opened the scoring for the Senators early in the second period, tipping home a Jacob Bernard-Docker shot from the point. Kastelic's role on the fourth line keeps him far from the fantasy radar -- he has only three points in 30 games this season, and he's seen 10:00 or more of ice time in just two of those contests, the last coming Dec. 31.

Shane Pinto - Two points including OT winnerPinto scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Red Wings.
ImpactThomas Chabot feathered a pass into the slot that Pinto re-directed past Alex Lyon a little over two minutes into OT. The 23-year-old center has two goals and four points in six games since making his season debut, and he skated on the Sens' top power-play unit Wednesday. Pinto is poised to be a strong fantasy asset on the other side of the All-Star break.

Joonas Korpisalo - Nabs second straight winKorpisalo made 23 saves in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Red Wings.
ImpactThe 29-year-old netminder heads into the All-Star break with some momentum, having won two straight starts and taken only one regulation loss in his last eight. Korpisalo's 5-1-2 record and 2.44 GAA over that stretch are strong fantasy numbers, but his .898 save percentage indicates his success is largely due to to the efforts of his defense -- he faced fewer than 30 shots in each of those outings.

Brogan Rafferty - Assigned to Grand RapidsRafferty was returned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.
ImpactThe 28-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game this season. He has been shuffled back and forth from Grand Rapids over the last three weeks and has been a healthy scratch for all seven games. The Red Wings do not play again until Feb. 10, so Rafferty should see some playing time, as the Griffins play twice in next nine days.
