ImpactThe 29-year-old netminder heads into the All-Star break with some momentum, having won two straight starts and taken only one regulation loss in his last eight. Korpisalo's 5-1-2 record and 2.44 GAA over that stretch are strong fantasy numbers, but his .898 save percentage indicates his success is largely due to to the efforts of his defense -- he faced fewer than 30 shots in each of those outings.

Brogan Rafferty - Assigned to Grand RapidsRafferty was returned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.
ImpactThe 28-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game this season. He has been shuffled back and forth from Grand Rapids over the last three weeks and has been a healthy scratch for all seven games. The Red Wings do not play again until Feb. 10, so Rafferty should see some playing time, as the Griffins play twice in next nine days.
