Will Tebow play in Philly, or is signing just for show?

When Tim Tebow is on the verge of signing with an NFL team, it’s bound to make headlines. And when that team is Chip Kelly and the Eagles, well, it isn’t Kim-Kardashian-breaks-the-Internet territory … but it certainly bumps NBA & NHL playoffs to the backburner, to be sure.

On Sunday, FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer broke the news that the most famous quarterback to never win more than a playoff game is on the verge of a return to the NFL, a contract with the Eagles to be signed on Monday.

But after that, what happens?

Is this a move based on desperation and P.R. potential by a coach who can’t stop making moves, or does Tebow actually have a chance to play?

Well, Glazer sounds off in the video above. And FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo gives his take below.

So Tebow is no more than a fourth-stringer … or Matt Barkley might want to have his things packed and ready to move.

Sounds like this is just the beginning of the Tebow news in Philly.
