Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was on hand with his teammates for the team’s last day of minicamp on Thursday. However, he did not practice because he has not yet signed off on his $12.8 million franchise tag.

It is reported that Bryant sat with his teammates as head coach Jason Garrett addressed the team. The Cowboys will hold training camp next month with the hope that Bryant will plan on participating. Bryant, who wants a long-term deal, faces a July 15 deadline to sign his franchise tender.

It was noted that Bryant, who showed up in street clothes, was tossing around a football on the sidelines. Garrett also mentioned the star wide receiver by name in a Q&A with reporters, indicating that it was great to have Bryant in attendance.

Perhaps Bryant’s brief appearance is a show of faith that he may be planning on attending the team’s upcoming training camp. Remember, it was previously reported that the Pro Bowler was contemplating holding out into the season.
