SI's Top 100 features five Warriors in Top 50

The Golden State Warriors will be the most talented team in the NBA next year. Sports Illustrated named five Warriors to their Top 50 list.
Five Warriors or the “Super Death Lineup” made it into the top 50 players of Sports Illustrated’s Top 100 NBA players of 2017.
Andre Iguodala comes in at number 44 on the list, which is solid for a veteran at his age. Next, we have sharpshooter and Splash Brother, Klay Thompson at 19, which is great for him. Now, this next one might raise some eyebrows just because people don’t see him as a super scorer or great offensive player. Ultra competitive and dirty-work, jack-of-all trades player, Draymond Green is in at number 13 on the top 100 list. The top 10 for the top 100 NBA players of 2017 has yet to be revealed, but we can expect Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant to be somewhere in the top 10.
Having five Warriors players into the top 50 players of Sports Illustrated’s Top 100 NBA players of 2017 must be a big deal to the fans because of how hard the players work and train to get better and better at their craft. These annual rankings are great for the players as well because it gives them a measuring stick on how to improve on their games to be the one of the best players if not the best player in the league.
For now, Warriors fans can hope that Curry and Durant are in the top 5 players in the top 100 NBA players of 2017 for Sports Illustrated because it just points to how devastating it would be for the opponent to have to play against two of the top 5 players in the NBA.
