Todd Frazier named All-Star Ambassador

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 1:06 p.m. ET

The Reds are hosting the Major League Baseball All-Star game on July 14 and Todd Frazier will be the spokesperson and ambassador.

"It means a lot to me, especially in Cincinnati," Frazier told Reds.com. "You've got a lot of people that are excited about this, me as well. Hopefully, we can get a bunch of guys in the All-Star Game and we'll see from there. To be asked is an honor, and hopefully I can represent Cincinnati at that time."

Frazier made his first National League All-Star team in 2014 and is on pace to make it once again this season.

"Last year was a fun experience for me. God willing, I can get in again and have a couple of guys to look up to and help out," Frazier said.
