JUPITER, Fla. (AP) Detroit pitcher Daniel Norris was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday because of a stiff back.
The exhibition game against Miami was rained out after two innings. Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said afterward that Norris was likely to start Tuesday against Toronto.
Norris had been set to make his third start of the spring and his fourth overall appearance. He's 1-0 with a 6.00 ERA so far, and is expected to be Detroit's rotation.
The 22-year-old lefty was traded from Toronto to Detroit last season in the deal for David Price.
