Taillon faces batters for first time since surgery

For the first time in more than a year, Pirates right-hander Jameson Taillon pitched to live batters.
Taillon, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 Draft, underwent Tommy John surgery last year, but Thursday he was back on the mound.

The highly-touted prospect threw 11 pitches in one inning and afterward he was thrilled to have been back on the mound.
