Stow speaks in prime-time TV interview

Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan who was severely beaten outside Dodger Stadium in March, has given his first television interview since the brutal attack, with a brief excerpt screened Thursday night.
In the clip, from an upcoming "Rock Center" television special on NBC, Stow was filmed in the long-term rehabilitation facility where he has been living since October.
In the 30-second clip, which was screened Thursday night by NBC Bay Area, the network's chief medical editor, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, is seen introducing herself after walking up to Stow, who is sitting on a bed. He asks, "How are you?"
"I am doing very well, thank you," she replies.
Stow says, "That's good."
"You're just as handsome as your sisters said you are," Snyderman replies as Stow gives a slight smile.
Stow, a 42-year-old father of two, suffered severe brain injuries in the brutal attack on March 31 after the Giants played the Dodgers.
He underwent emergency surgery after the attack, in which doctors removed a portion of his skull to relieve swelling on his brain.
His family allowed the TV show into the rehab center to document his progress. The full special will screen on Monday night.
Earlier Thursday, the two men accused of assaulting Stow appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court where a progress report on the case was set for Jan. 17.
Louie Sanchez, 29, and Marvin Norwood, 31, have pleaded not guilty to charges of mayhem, assault and battery.
Prosecutors say Stow was knocked unconscious, then repeatedly kicked in the head during the attack in the parking lot outside the stadium.
