Pirates manager Clint Hurdle wanted to give Nationals starter Max Scherzer a memento from Saturday's no-hitter, but Hurdle wound up getting one himself, according to Pirates.com.
"I sent Scherzer the cards to see if he wanted them," Hurdle told Pirates.com. "And the message he sent back was, 'I don't need anything. I've got a whole bunch of stuff.' So I asked, 'If you don't, would you sign one?'"
So what is Hurdle going to do with the autographed lineup card?

"I'll probably auction it off for charity," Hurdle said. "Very nice. [Nationals manager] Matt Williams even signed one, and I signed the other."
