Saturday's Rangers game a hot seller

Published Oct. 8, 2010 10:22 p.m. ET

You can attend Saturday's possibly historic Texas Rangers playoff game - but it will cost you. And you better hurry.

With the Rangers winning both games at Tampa Bay, Game 3 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is the hottest ticket in North Texas.

As of Thursday evening, a handful of obstructed-view and standing-room-only tickets remained for sale at the Texas Rangers ticket office.

That means anyone wanting to be a part of Rangers history will have to try the secondary ticket market.

Area ticket brokers say they are doing brisk business.

"Everyone wants to be there for the celebration," said Robert Lodes, owner of Metro Tickets in Dallas. "And we've never had this celebration."

Upper-deck tickets begin at $85 at Metro Tickets, with lower-level seats beginning at $150. Field box seats are between $300 and $400.

Ticketsource.com, which has two area locations, said ticket sales were consistent all week but picked up significantly after the Rangers won Game 1.

Upper-deck tickets begin at $100. Lower-level outfield tickets start at $125, with lower-level seats between the bases ranging from $250 to $350 each.

Texas Tickets owner Scott Baima said they are likely to run out of their supply of Game 3 tickets sometime today. Upper-deck tickets begin at $125, with lower-level tickets ranging from $150 to $250.

Tickets on StubHub were $50 to $650.
