Report: Dodgers acquire versatile outfielder Ruggiano from Mariners
The Seattle Mariners made another waiver-wire trade on Monday night, trading outfielder Justin Ruggiano to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations. The deal came after the club shipped Austin Jackson to the Chicago Cubs earlier in the day.
Bob Dutton of the News Tribune broke the story:

Ruggiano will provide some much-needed depth for the Dodgers, who are currently fighting for an NL West division title with Yasiel Puig battling a hamstring injury. In 36 games with the Mariners in 2015, Ruggianio hit .214/.321/.357 with 2 home runs in 70 official at-bats. He was outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma back in June, but has excelled in the minors since then - as FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal pointed out on Twitter:
Ruggiano, heading to #Dodgers, is a right-handed hitter who plays all three OF positions. Batting .296 with .899 OPS in 205 PAs at Triple A.

Ruggiano was originally drafted by the Dodgers in 2004 in the 25th round before moving on to the Tampa Bay Rays two years later.
